Since the development of the Pharmacy Technicians Diploma by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland in 1985 qualified Pharmacy Technicians have become an essential part of the Pharmacy team. In addition, it is increasingly the case that Pharmacy Technicians are fulfilling roles traditionally undertaken by pharmacists and other new roles to pharmacy as a whole particularly those related to the supply function, in order that pharmacists might also move forward and develop new roles.

As the representative association for hospital pharmacy technicians we would like to create a list of courses pharmacy technicians have undertaken so that it can be make it available to their colleagues working around the country.
